I have this game since its release eying, but I wanted to wait until I could buy for $ 20 before adding another game to my DS collection. Now that I finally realized, I wonder why I waited so long, this game is incredible.
It can be said that the developers really put some effort in creating a combat system that is fun and innovative. The game has almost infinite replay value and multiplayer support this great cause. Basicsare easy to understand and easy, but like a good board game classic, simple rules arise a lot of complexity. It 'frustrating, impossible without demanding, and the pace is refreshing. Although they are usually bored by strategy games, is almost impossible to get bored with it. But it can not be fooled by look-lite strategy, as others have said, the game will offer some challenges (and surprises).
This game has succeeded where other gameshave failed. It 'easy to learn and play for a short period before coming back down. The game follows a fairly linear path, which is good for me, because they have a greater emphasis on the battles and keeps you from getting lost if you sit down and play for hours. Here you will find many similarities between this game and other DS titles like Children of Mana and Luminous Arc. I think this game trounces all, and makes you angry with Fire Emblemthe king of the genre on the DS. While my hat goes to Fire Emblem to be a more traditional, and of course hardcore strategy Clash of Heroes certainly wins points for its innovative and balanced. In view of the single-player campaign, the game is better is up to personal preference, but Clash of Heroes wins hands down in multi-player and its function as a fast fight (which I do not think Fire Emblem is even). This is a perfect fit for a platform like the DS.
Clash of Heroesnot exactly an RPG, although it is difficult RPG elements. I think players expect from an RPG this game will be disappointed, but still wonderful to see what surprises her. I give this game a perfect score, I try to do too often, and consider it an essential title for its platform. If you have a DS, no matter what kind of player you are alone, you need to get this game. This of course makes a great gift for those who have not already, and with the E10 +Assessment, it's fun for (almost) the whole family.
Game aside, I must say that the artwork for the game is charming and refreshing, and I agree with other reviewers that the music is top notch. The story is fun and writing, as well, has a wide variety of creative ideas. I do not think that too often these days. That said, all these things are the icing on the cake.
